The Adventures of Cairo

This post is sponsored by Wondery’s The Adventures of Cairo, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

Listening to various creative and fun children’s adventure podcasts with my children is something I enjoy deeply. I believe they are a significant source of inspiration, learning, and entertainment for both them and me. And we learned a lot of gems throughout each experience, and we’re all the better for it!

The most recent podcast we listened to was Wondery’s Melon’s House Party, which follows the adventures of an eight-pound dog with a thousand-pound heart and her strange but amusing friends.

After we finished that podcast, I went in search of another entertaining series. And I’m glad I found Wondery’s The Adventures of Cairo.

The Adventures of Cairo is a brand-new family podcast that is both entertaining and educational for all ages.

This time, the story centers around a seven-year-old boy named Cairo who lives in the city and enjoys exploring all the places around him. Cairo has a lot to learn about kindness, safety, and even the worth of a dollar. And, throughout his adventures, he’s been fortunate to be able to rely on his family, friends, and community to help him learn while also having fun.

The podcast always has a lesson to teach you. For example, during his school’s winter clothing drive, Cairo learns about sharing and caring. Or when he realizes that the best way to make a new friend is to simply be truly yourself!

If you’re a parent reading this, I wholeheartedly believe that you should foster a love of podcast listening in your children. And if you’re looking for a show that will introduce them to this wonderful and adventure-filled world, I can’t recommend The Adventures of Cairo highly enough.

  1. Thank you! We homeschool and are always looking for something to educate and just something kid friendly. This would be good for our rides vs those videos when I can’t read a book.

You are welcome. Glad it helps and yes it will be perfect for car rides. My daughter listens in during homeschooling or car rides too.

  2. This story is great! I have a 3 year old and I have been teaching him the importance of sharing.
