2 Reasons for a New Instagram Name Handle Change

My Instagram Name Handle change was a tough decision. So, if you have been following My Instagram page over 5 years now. You know I was using the Instagram name handle @preciousabehe_15. I love the name because it was named after my precious miracle Daughter Abehe. But it was time to change and this comes with good. Today, I am sharing 2 reasons to change my Instagram handle name. Before I do so here’s a back story of when I got started in 2013, on Instagram. I had 150 Followers which later grew. Currently, it’s over 60,000 Followers in my community that I also call Family.

My Instagram journey started with sharing my infertility to pregnancy journey. After having my daughter back in 2015, I switched to mostly contents of my Daughter’s lifestyle journey and our Family Travels. Years later, I realized that I could become an Influencer and monetize my Instagram account. Sharing Brands that my Family and I Love, and are already using in our household while getting paid for it. And that is exactly, what I have been doing for the past 2 years. However, this Influencer journey has it’s ups and downs. Which brings me to my 2 reasons.

Here are the 2 reasons to change my Instagram handle name.

1). Redefining My Brand

Why do I need to redefine my Brand? For the last 9 months, I was “stuck” within the Influencer space. I am overlook and underpaid on numerous Brand deals. Then they are periods where I am applying to campaigns only to get denials after denials. My thoughts were why was I getting all these denials. This puts me in a place of self defeat. I am second guessing myself. If I am doing a good job of bringing value to this Influencer space.

Sometimes, I was at the point of giving up on this journey but my passion kept me going paid or no paid. I also did some stepping back from everything. In addition, I sought the Lord for some answers. The Lord renewed my mind on what He has gifted me with. I also invested in myself with hiring a 1:1 Clarity and Mind Coach. So, with the help of My Coach and my Faith in God. I am trusting this new season of my Life.

My Name change is repositioning my Brand to bring a more clear voice, targeting my audiences and position myself in this Influencer community. It is a Brand Name that will bring more of my personality to the forefront and speak to other woman who have walked my path. A name that is going to be more impactful and service my community. The Lord led me to the name She rises with Grace at sheriseswithgrace.com it’s a renewal name one that will equip Woman of all race, ethnicity, religion and identity to arise with grace.

Just know in times whenever you feel like you have nothing to contribute to society. It is the best time to arise and rely on “Grace”. For me, the “Grace of God’ is what I depend on. I would encourage you to find your Grace that you depend on. Then move in that Grace. It will inspire others to reach their full potential while building on your own.

2). Start my Blogging Business

Why Blogging? Well, Four Years ago, I was blogging as a hobby on my infertility through pregnancy journey. Little did I know, I was preparing for this season on building an extension to my Brand. I am monetizing my Blog Business. By writing on my knowledges, experiences and passions while Influencing my community along this Journey. I will continue working with Brand partnerships bringing Brand awareness as well. But building my own Brand.

I am no longer “Stuck” I am rescued from self bondage. Knowing my self worth and speaking up. I am fully awaking with God’s Grace that will steer my passion and drive to purse my Entrepreneur Dreams in this Digital Space. We all have gifts and talents.
